We plan to damp the yaw motions of the GAS filters passively by eddy current damping. To damp the motions effectively, several parameters (damping coefficient of eddy current, sitffness of each wire, etc.) should be optimized. So I do a simple simulation about the yaw motions of filters and determine the optimal parameters. The document contains details about the simulation and parameter optimization. A MATLAB program used in the simulation is also attached (MATLAB Control System Toolbox is necessary to run the program).
